We are very fortunate to have met Bob and had his team install a custom iron gate and side fence at the top of our stairs, as well as a faux fence off our kitchen. We were referred to San Diego Ornamental Iron by Dan the Fence DR. Looking at their website, I wasn’t sure if they could help me because it looked like SD Iron specializes in high end elaborate iron work found in multi million dollar homes. Well they certainly can do that, but they can also help us ordinary homeowners! Bob Welsh has been working on custom gates for over 30 years. He will handle all the details and coordinate with other contractors (like fence, electrical, fire dept). Bob helped us design a total automated gate plan within our budget. I am so grateful that we used SD Ornamental Iron instead of trying to buy kits and do this difficult job ourselves, throwing money down the drain and ending up with a sagging broken gate!

Super Happy with the Custom Iron Stair railings Bob & Fausto designed and built for my Condo. Despite having to carry everything up 4 flights of Stairs they did an efficient and super professional job. Highly recommendable for any custom iron work for your home.
